Hi Folks,

My Mayan Adventure Parts Packs arrived today. The LEGO ED part number is # 991378, and it's on their website here:
<http://www.legoeducation.com/SearchResult.aspxKeyWords=991378&searchtype=0&sport=0&by=20>

Since they don't provide details, here is an inventory, with the <www.peeron.com> number and name (in case you want to look up a picture because the name befuddles you). I've listed the common name too, where the name we use is substantially different than the Peeron name:

EIGHT (55615) Technic Beam 3 x 3 Bent with Pins, aka Hassenpins, (O JOY!)
FOUR (48989) Technic Axle Joiner Perpendicular 3L with 4 Pins
TWENTY (2780)   Technic Pin with Friction and Slots, aka the black pins
TWO (3673)   Technic Pin, aka the gray pins
TWO (44294) 7 Stud Axles
SEVEN (32278) Technic Liftarm 1 x 15 Straight, aka 15 hole beam
TWO (41239) Technic Beam 13, aka 13 hole beam
FIVE (32525) Technic Beam 11, aka 11 hole beam
ONE (120)   Liftarm 1 x 9 Straight, aka 9 hole beam
FOUR (32524) Technic Beam 7, aka 7 hole beam
ONE (32316) Technic Liftarm 1 x 5 Straight, aka 5 hole beam
TWO (32348)   Technic Liftarm 1 x 7 Bent
TWO (152)   Technic Liftarm 1 x 9 Bent
TWO (32009) Technic Liftarm 1 x 11.5 Double Bent
TWO (32557) Technic Pin Joiner Dual Perpendicular, aka the kilroy piece

Why are some of the straight beams called liftarms and others beams, anyone?? Anyone??

Whether you are working on the Mayan Adventure book (which we use and adore, thanks Jim, for writing it!), doing FLL, or building on your own, this is a handy little kit of parts for $7!

Hello, Engineers of Tomorrow...

Just visited your site - you guys look like a great team and I hope you'll keep us informed about this year's upcoming competition.

Thanks for the news about the MAPP, and I'm glad you like the book.  Please tell the entire team I said hello and good luck for this next year!

Hi all,

I was not sure about the colors, but I asumed the NXT set colors.
so I created a little BOM picture.

PS I found this as a working link to the set:

Or go to the homepage http://www.legoeducation.com/ and select search for number 991378

Well, that's going to drop the prices on Bricklink significantly (not that there was a high avalibility in the first place):

Thank you so much for posting the parts list and photos! Now I know what Hassenpins look like!!! Even though I have the retail kit to go w/ the Mayan Adventure book, this kit looks too good to pass up since I'm already ordering from LEGO Education anyhow!
