I added the unofficial parts from Philo.  But  I still can't seem to locate a Technic Liftarm 1 x 13 straight piece.

The retail kit comes with 4 of them.  But I can't seem to locate them anywhere...

Any ideas?

Peeron has the part, but no image.  Tongue

I found the part number via Peeron.  It's 41239

I then looked this up at the LDraw website.  You can download the part directly from there.  Here is the link: http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/41239.dat

So. I dropped that into my Parts folder (under the LDraw folder), told MLCad to rescan, and I'm good to go.  Not sure why I didn't have this piece in the first place.  I've downloaded all the official parts from LDraw.  Sad

Yep, you didn't have it because it is an 'Unofficial' part at this time and you wouldn't have it yet unless you manually installed (like you just did).  It isn't included in any of the LDraw parts updates or normal installs yet.

In the Parts Tracker you'll probably find more parts you like that are not 'Official' parts yet.  I here a big LDraw update is almost ready!

it is free, easy to some hard to others, depending on your previous experience with CAD

here's a good link from David J. Perdue's book's blog:
http://nxtblog.davidjperdue.com/2008/01/20/tutorial-setting-up-ldraw-to-create-virtual-nxt-robots/

i used this tutorial to install it, from there ive learned MLCad on my own, it is a very advanced software even though it looks old from apperance

it was easy for me because i have past experience with Autodesk Inventor and Blender

The tutorial are very related to the MLCad and LDraw because of the distinguishing missing pieces,
